Since its foundation in 1998, the Nunavut Arts and Crafts Association (NACA) has worked to benefit Nunavut artists.
NACA is a non-profit incorporated society that supports and promotes the development and growth of Nunavut's arts and
crafts community through advocacy, communications, artist development, education and marketing.

    Biography :

    Abraham is a new emerging artist. He was taught by his father but also realized that he had talent when he was taking art classes at the local school. He started drawing in grade 3 and has continued in that stream ever since focusing his artistic vision to drawing in pencil and markers. Abraham says he Draws nature in action. He creates detailed drawing and prints depicting the nature he sees around him.

    Abraham is a young artist that sees the need for the continuing in this art form and wishes there were more artists in his medium of drawing in his community.

    He is a dedicated individual that is trying hard to make his way in the art world and has upcoming events that he is hoping will help nurture his talent including a workshop in Lithograph print making as well as having attended the NACA Summer Showcase.
